700,000 people at once

I put a few photos from yesterday’s 700,000-person Seahawks superbowl victory parade up on Flickr. That’s more people at the parade than live within city limits.

..and only one porta-potty. That’s like the combined population of Lexington and Louisville (some -ish factor there). Still, that would be sort of cool to see.
Oh, that’s absolutely why I went. I mean, I enjoy a spot of the handegg, I absolutely do! I am not allergic to sport. But going to this was just for the crowd.
They anticipated 400,000 or so. 700,000 was a bit of a lot, that was. But! Everyone behaved. Seriously, everyone. No incidents reported, no arrests. Took hours to get out home, mind you, but very nice day.
