Hiya! Back from St. John&#8217;s and Torbay and Shediac and Moncton and Joliette and Montreal and Toronto! Working backwards, more or less. There is far too much, and I&#8217;m still updating my written old-school journal, but there are things! And I have proof!<\/p>\n<p>I stood in a Great Lake in Beaches:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/solarbird.net\/Livejournal\/2012-08\/lake-ontario.jpg\"><br \/><i>Yes, my feet are in the water, even if it doesn&#8217;t look like it.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>And The Mighty If, who was at the house concert later, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=oXLCQOPdLxQ&#038;feature=relmfu\">posted video he took with his camera from the show<\/a>, which is probably the first recording <em>anywhere<\/em> of &#8220;Get Out&#8221;:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/oXLCQOPdLxQ\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><br \/><i>Not you, you can stay<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>We hiked all over Toronto, or at least, downtown parts. This was an Eyesore of the Month building in the drawing stages some years ago and I looked at the drawings and totally agreed, but this is one of those cases where the drawings &#8211; and also what it looks like from a distance &#8211; are totally wrong, because on the ground once you&#8217;re nearby? It works great:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/solarbird.net\/Livejournal\/2012-08\/giant-brick.jpg\"><br \/><i>Look at this insanity. LOOK AT IT!<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Holy Shit, Bay Street!<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/solarbird.net\/Livejournal\/2012-08\/baystreet.jpg\"><br \/><i>No left turns, in<b>deed<\/b><\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Also for some reason some of their street cars have Elfquest pr0n names:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/solarbird.net\/Livejournal\/2012-08\/longbranch.jpg\"><br \/><i>Intersects with Softsheath<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>And we found out where Cabbages Guy went after he left CabbageCorp:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/solarbird.net\/Livejournal\/2012-08\/cabbagetown.jpg\"><br \/><i>My Cabbagetown!<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>And apparently:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/solarbird.net\/Livejournal\/2012-08\/doublewide.jpg\"><br \/><i>Inspector Spacetime got a double-wide<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Okay, okay, enough fandom crap. XD Toronto was awesome. How awesome?
